Meet the Doctor

Dr. Tom Rankin was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He has over 25 years experience and is the third generation of his family in the dental profession. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Miami University where he graduated a year early to enter dental school. After completing his dental training at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1989, he joined his father, Dr. Daniel Rankin, in the practice that he started in 1961. After his father retired, Dr.Rankin took over the practice and continues in the same location today.

Dr. Rankin stays current with the latest research, materials and techniques through continuing education classes and study clubs to assure that he provides the best possible care for his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Columbus Dental Society, the Excellence in Dentistry study club and the Spectrum Dental Society study club. He was voted a Top Dentist in Central Ohio by his peers in Columbus Monthly Magazine in 2013 and 2014.

Dr. Rankin and his wife, Kathy, live in Columbus with their three children, Neil, Colleen and Erin. He is an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and also enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including, fishing, hunting and dirt bike riding.
